Job Description

We are seeking an audio/gameplay programmer for an Xbox360/PS3 title currently under development.

The successful candidate will be responsible for working with our sound designer to integrate audio content and with our programming team to create and maintain audio features as well as other general game features.

Required

• At least 2 years of programming experience in game development;
• Technical experience/knowledge of different audio techniques (mixing, filters, reverbs, etc);
• Strong C/C++ skills;
• Solid math skills;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.

We are seeking a Level Scripter/Designer to work closely with our design and scripting teams on mission scenarios, interactive encounters, game environments and gameplay mechanics.

The successful candidate will also be required to work in tandem with QA throughout the project to identify and resolve gameplay and level design issues.

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Audio Designer to create and refine audio assets for PS3/360 development.

The successful candidate's primary responsibility will be content creation followed by optimization, balancing and technical integration of assets.

Required

• Demonstrated ability with a wide range of tools, technologies and platforms for sound design and audio post-production, including Pro Tools, Sound Forge, Waves, MIDI Sequencers, Direct Music, Windows, Macintosh and outboard processors;
• Familiarity with programming/scripting languages (C++, Lua) and various gaming platforms;
• Willing and able to work closely with game designers and programmers;
• Self-directed and proactive with a passion for gaming.

Desired

• Minimum three years professional experience as a Sound Designer or Audio Engineer;
• Extensive experience with PS2 development and some knowledge of next-gen development;
• Canadian citizenship and residency.
